Hillary’s Lead Begins to Dwindle

Posted on November 9, 2007

Two New Hampshire polls are not good news for Mrs. Clinton:

Two new reputable polls of New Hampshire Democratic Primary voters will show statistically significant drops in support for frontrtunner Hillary Clinton, Democrats who have seen those polls said today.

The polls will be released this weekend and are embargoed; though I’m not privy to the embargo agreement, I’ll be a little vague out of respect for the polling organizations.

One of the polls shows that the gap between Clinton and Barack Obama narrowed by more than 10 points. Her biggest decline was seen among older voters.

The other shows Clinton’s lead over Obama reduced by approximately 9 points.

I’m not sure if its good news or bad news. On one hand, many folks are hoping that Hillary is the nominee because she will be the easiest to beat. On the other hand, any bad news for Hillary has to be good news.

I would rather have a more anti-war candidate win as McGovern was slaughtered by Nixon. I do not believe the average American wants a pacifist or anyone resembling the same in the White House.

If one looks closely. Neither side has much to offer but the democrats by far are mostly empty suits. Thompson would be my selection but any republicans out shine Hillary or BO.

Really? The actor who didn’t know the Soviet Union doesn’t exist anymore? I’ll take and empty suit over an empty head any day.
