Saddam Boycotts His Own Trial
Posted on December 7, 2005
If ever there were a trial that was a circus, this one takes the prize. Michael Jackson’s trial was mild compared to the insanity we have seen so far with this one. Apparantly, Saddam was not satisfied with the outcome of his outbursts, and demanding rants, so in order to make another statement, he has refused to go to his own trial. I wonder if this could have been the advice of his traitor lawyer, Ramsey Clark.
Regardless, the trial carries on, despite the empty chair. Let him throw his temper tantrums in there, and rot there for all I care. Let keep this trial rolling on. Maybe without him there, some kind of order can be established.

He is complaining because it did not take so long for a trial when he was the ruler. He just took his son-in-law into the next room and shot him. Swift justice.
Talking to some of the dudes who help guard and transport Saddam, he is just all about show. As a guy who has lived, fought, and claims some expertise in the Middle East, let me tell you that posturing/theatrics are a part of being an Arab man. The judge is in a tough spot, but needs to cowboy up!
Damn. Saddam’s acting like he’s unbalanced or something. Next thing you know, some crazy technophobe with a Harvard degree and a penchant for sending out letter bombs will try to hang himself in jail with his skivvies.

Clark is really shining on this one. I can almost see libs giddiness over the hope that Saddam will be back to gassing Kurds and making snuff films out of their children in no time. Who needs human rights?
I guess when it comes to the day to hang the B_ _ _ _ _ _ he will say that he is not going to show up for the hanging.
