Stop The ACLU’s Washington Times Ad
Posted on November 29, 2005
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who contributed to make this nationally running ad possible. We faced a daunting task to raise a large sum of money for this one ad. But it was done thanks to you. We would especially like to acknowledge Seth from Hard Astarboard for his very generous donation that completed our effort. We undoubtedly would still be asking for donations and this ad would not have appeared this soon without his contribution. Thanks Seth!
And finally I’d like to acknowledge the BlogBurst. For spreading the word of the evils of the ACLU. Each week you put your efforts into alerting the public to the actual agenda of the ACLU. And that is our major weapon in this fight.

Congrats Y’all! You definitely earned it!!
This is awesome!! I cannot wait to see what the reaction is to this truth letting!!! Jay, and everyone supporting this site, you are da bomb!
I’m not to good with photo shop stuff, if anyone knows how to make this into a pdf file that could be shared, let me know.
Woohoo!!!!
awesome ad.
I am so excited I may need to go take a Xanax - great work Jay and crew!
Very impressive! Nice work Jay.
What has the response been?
“I cannot wait to see what the reaction is to this truth letting!!!”
Actually, I can tell you. You guys will continue to rant and rave incoherently about the ACLU’s tireless efforts to abort every fetus, ban religion (specifically Christianity, promote faggotry, sbscond with your guns, and turn the U.S. into a communist country. Meanwhile, the ACLU will continue to roll along with its insanely high operating budget, unperturbed by another in a long line of examples of “truth letting” from the mentally challenged.
Does it bother you to have effectively tossed a bunch of money into a furnace? You folks get an A for effort but an F- for sociopolitical wherewithal.

Congratulations Jay! You guys did a nice job and should be proud of yourselves.
Hey Crystal Orb… (spare me) Let me put this in language you surely will understand at your mental level. When you get your golf ball sized head out of your Liberal butt, go [edited] yourself. After than, get the [edited] out of my country you commie loving [edited]
NO PROFANITY!!! THIS MEANS SWEARING, CUSSING, etc.
crystal orb can go back into her ACLU expensive furnished office and play with herself. I am e mailing this to everyone in my e mail address book and more.
Now, ain’t that purty! Of course, I was out of town last week, stopped my delivery of Wa Times, and so never got to hold the ad in my grubby little fingers. Still, this scan works.
Glad to have been a wee part of supporting the ad, and hope that it draws some good attention to our cause, from outside the b’sphere.
Congrats!!!

I’m hurt Jay.
You didn’t even ask me. I’ll do this when I get home tonight but email me and remind me. Great job!

Actually I found it very coherent. It’s not our fault you can’t understand plain english. Perhaps if it had been a bit more wishy washy, PC, dumbed down - take your pick - you might have taken to it better. I’ve seen the wee humble beginnings of this blog and I can honestly say that it has come a long way in a short time and grows by the day. I expect great success but it will be a slow process. The ACLU didn’t get all its power in a day and it won’t lose it all in a day either.
“It’s not our fault you can’t understand plain english.”
You mean “English.”
No one should be up in arms about the poor quality of the writing on this blog. People with poor powers of analysis and a blindness to two-thirds of any given issue should not be held to the standards of champion essayists. I’d be a little worried if people who appeared to be intelligent were churning out this garbage.
here, here!
congratulations, and thanks for fighting the good fight!
put those [edited] in their place!
Awesome! The generosity of your readers is great. Wonderful ad. I hope it brings a lot of awareness your way. You ROCK!
Congrats on being able to afford the ad.
However, being the economically minded individual I am (read stingy), why a full page ad in the WT? Most people who read that paper already are conservatives and would eagerly check out this site once they became aware of it. A quarter-page ad, highlighting fewer issues, would have worked as well; that would save money for an ad in the WP.
Just wondering.

Well maybe someday we can be as enlightened as you.
