ACLU Adopt A Sex Offender Challenge

As we all know, when the ACLU isn’t busy protecting the rights of terrorists out to kill us, threatening small schools, or erasing our Christian heritage, they will always make time to defend sick and perverted sex offenders.

The ACLU filed a lawsuit last month on behalf of Kyle Lewis, a Level 3 sex offender, and his mother, who owns the property where her son lives. The Issaquah ordinance passed last month also makes it illegal to rent homes to sex offenders in prohibited areas.

Why a level three sex offender is allowed to live outside a prison is still beyond me. That is a repeat offender considered a danger to society. They can’t be reformed, and don’t even need to be in society, but somehow, somewhere, some judge granted the pervert the privaledge of limited freedom. But this still isn’t enough for the ACLU. They wanted no restrictions on the predator’s freedom.

Thank God some people have common sense still.

Last week, a court commissioner denied an ACLU request for a temporary restraining order to block the ordinance until the preliminary-injunction hearing date of Sept. 23. The city then began issuing fines of $250 a day to Lewis and his mother.

The sicko decided to move out of mommy’s place, and the ACLU decided to drop the motion. But no worries, they will be back.

“The lawsuit is proceeding, just on a slower schedule,” Honig said. A trial date is set for Feb. 27, 2007, but a summary judgment could be issued earlier, he said.

It never fails, if you are a sick twisted freak the ACLU is on your side. I don’t think I could say it any better than Merri.

I find this interesting. If you dig for a bit on the Internet, you will find these little stories hidden in the corners - hidden in quite a number of corners. When the ACLU wins a case, or depending on what the subject matter is, the MSM generally picks up on the story and makes it a national news event. When the ACLU withdraws, or loses, it’s buried on page seven - not nearly as newsworthy. I also find that stories relating to sexual predators, or other such criminals tend to get less media attention (and the ACLU tends to brag less about these cases).Merri’s Musings

Interesting indeed. I think I have the solution however. Let’s have each ACLU member adopt a sex offender. I think it will go great! I think we should email the ACLU with the idea. Each ACLU member can invite the sex offender of their choice into their homes, and make sure they are well taken care of. The ones who have children shouldn’t mind a child rapist or two in the guest bedroom, after all they’ve paid their debt to society. The fact that they are repeat offenders shouldn’t matter, after all it didn’t matter to them to put them in other people’s neighborhoods. We will have to make sure the NAMBLA members get invited to the party too.

    Brilliant plan, Jay!

Maybe it will encourage the members of the ACLU to pray.
